Adopting these technologies with respect for social, environmental, and economic sustainability is key to ensuring that they do produce the intended benefits to society. By the end of this course, you will understand how and why it is important to consider sustainability during the digital transition.

Hopefully, you have completed the SSE2, SSE3, and previous SSE4 courses already, but if not- that's ok! This course is for those who understand the basic principles of circular economy, sustainable development, and Industry 4.0. You don't need to be an expert, but knowledge of these topics can help to support your learning.
