Welcome to SSE 2: Environmental Cycles & Sustainable Bioeconomy!

This first part of the SSE 2 course package will help you become familiar with critical Earth cycles and principles of sustainable bioeconomy.

Learning objectives

- The students will learn about critical Earth cycles and their impacts
- The students will learn about circular bioeconomy principles in action
- The students will become familiar with circular bioeconomy technologies
- The students will learn what measurements are used for sustainable development
- The students will learn about different kinds of biomaterials, and how those are used

Hopefully, you have completed the SSE1 course already, but if not- that's ok! This course is for those who understand the basic principles of circular economy and sustainable development. You will gain new insights into these topics related to organic chemistry, circular bioeconomy, and environmental science. If you are interested in developing truly renewable products, processes, value chains, and societies you have found the right place! Everything you need to know will be taught during the course.

The other parts of the SSE 2 package, (parts 2 and 3) will be released at a later date. But now, It's time to continue your journey in the world of sustainable solutions engineering!
